ADSL Modem With Fast Ethernet Interface

This ADSL modem provides simple and quick connection to an ADSL broadband line. It provides 10/100BASE-TX connection to

an Ethernet supported computer or network device (such as a router). With speed support of up to 8Mbps, a wide range of

compatibility, easy installation and a tiny price tag, this modem takes your Internet and WAN connection to a new level of

convenience and simplicity.

Up to 8Mbps Speed

Uses Existing Telephone Line

The ADSL modem features ANSI T1.413 issue 2, G.dmt

modulation for speeds of up to 8Mbps downstream and 1

Mbps upstream. G.lite is also supported, allowing up to

1.5Mbps downstream and 512Kbps upstream. G.lite is

sufficient for most Internet applications today, and has the

advantage of not requiring the installation of a splitter at the

subscriber end. The modem auto-senses the connection type

and auto-negotiates the best modulation scheme, G.dmt or

G.lite using the G.hs (handshake) protocol.

Your ADSL modem operates over the existing telephone wire

and does not require any new transmission media. The

modem makes possible high-speed multimedia services,

Internet access, and video conferencing for you, using a

standard copper phone line.

"Always-on" or Dial-up Connection to ISP

This ADSL modem supports both "always on" and dial-up

connections to ISP. "Always-on" eliminates the need to dial to

ISP and is ideal for applications like IP telephony. Dial-up

connection lets you save ISP charge, it allows you to

disconnect from the Internet when you don't need to use it.

through a Fast Ethernet interface.

Supports up to 8 simultaneous virtual connections (PVC)

for a single ADSL account
