Cryptography Commands

show crypto ca-certiﬁcate

Displays information about the certiﬁcate authority’s PEM-encoded PKCS #7 certiﬁcate. .

Syntax: show crypto ca-certiﬁcate {eap}

eap Displays information about the certiﬁcate authority’s certiﬁcate

that signed the Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP)

certiﬁcate for the switch. The EAP certiﬁcate authenticates

the DWS-1008 switch to 802.1X supplicants (clients).

Defaults: None Access: Enabled

Examples: To display information about the certiﬁcate of a certiﬁcate authority, type the

following command:

DWS-1008# show crypto ca-certiﬁcate

Fields Description

Version Version of the X.509 certiﬁcate.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Serial Number A unique identiﬁer for the certiﬁcate or signature.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Subject Name of the certiﬁcate owner.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Signature Algorithm that created the signature, such as RSA MD5 or

Algorithm RSA SHA.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Issuer Certiﬁcate authority that issued the certiﬁcate or signature.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Validity Time period for which the certiﬁcate is valid.
